Jerrie Peters

Jerrie was a multi-media artist and she wrote, "My art is a personal collection of icons, artists, and places that influenced my work, and the images are depicted in wood, fabric and collage. I have always worked in mixed media, combining designs and images from various cultures. Throughout all of the different media that I have worked with, I always come back to my favorite way of representing a picture: by cutting it up in puzzle form, and reducing it to a simple series of shapes."
